Why State and Legal Studies?

Our goal is to help you

  • better understand your rights and responsibilities as a citizen
  • understand the relationship between media, technology, and society
  • prepare for proactive leadership roles
  • to work toward inclusive and transformational social justice

We offer, online** and across several disciplines, a variety of programs and concentrations:

Whether or not you enrol in one of these programs, you can take individual courses to fulfill requirements of other programs at Athabasca University, or use our courses to contribute to your successful degree completion at other institutions.

These courses can be completed anywhere, anytime, giving you the flexibility to study at your own pace.
